eKYB in Sweden leverages Creditsafe as the vendor to validate the legitimacy of businesses, including their organisation number, business name, business address, along with UBOs and directors.

Creditsafe	Validates Swedish businesses against Creditsafe's company data, sourced from the Swedish Companies Registration Office (Bolagsverket).

All module configurations and user data can be forwarded directly in the request for performing a KYB search. This overrides existing configuration and data collected about the user.

Request parameters

taxId	Mandatory	String. Swedish Organisationsnummer or VAT number. See Tax ID formats below for details.
businessName	Optional	String. Registered name of the business.
street	Optional	String. Street name of the business address.
houseNo	Optional	String. Building or house number.
addressLine2	Optional	String. Additional address information.
city	Optional	String. City of the business address.
state	Optional	String. State or region of the business address.
postalCode	Optional	String. Swedish postal code. Format: exactly 5 digits (for example, `21586`; may be given with a space as `215 86`).
uboNames	Optional	Array of strings. Full legal name(s) of Ultimate Beneficial Owners to check against business records.
directors	Optional	Array of strings. Full legal name(s) of directors to check against business records.

Note

Note on ubo_name_match: If Creditsafe returns no shareHolders block for a given company (only issuedShareCapital), ubo_name_match is omitted from the response entirely rather than returned as Unverified — absent shareholder data is not treated as a failed match. This appears to be more common for Swedish companies than for other countries covered so far, and is called out here as a documented behavior pending confirmation against additional Swedish company samples.

address_verification	Verified, Approximate Match, Unverified	Submitted address (`houseNo` + `street` + `addressLine2` + `city` + `state` + `postalCode`) is verified, approximate match, or unverified against Creditsafe's `simpleValue` address string. Fuzzy matching is applied to the full address.
cityMatch	Verified, Approximate Match, Unverified	Submitted city is verified, approximate match, or unverified against Creditsafe's `city` field.
postalCodeMatch	Verified, Unverified	Submitted postal code is verified or unverified against Creditsafe's `postalCode` field. Format: exactly 5 digits (for example, `21586`).
registrationStatus	Active, Not active	Current registration status of the business. Sourced from Creditsafe's `status` field (step 1) or `companySummary.companyStatus` (step 2). Possible Creditsafe values include `Active` and `NonActive`, mapped to `Active` / `Not active` respectively.
entityType	Legal entity type of the business	The legal form of the business as returned from Creditsafe (for example, `Limited liability company`). Passed through as-is — not fuzzy matched against anything in the request.
ubo_name_match	Verified, Approximate Match, Unverified (or omitted)	Submitted UBO name is matched against Creditsafe's `shareHolders` block. One entry is returned per submitted UBO name, distinguishable via `uboName_input`. Omitted entirely if Creditsafe returns no `shareHolders` data for the company (see note above).
directors_name_match	Verified, Approximate Match, Unverified	Submitted director name is matched against Creditsafe's `directors` block. One entry is returned per submitted director name, distinguishable via `directorsName_input`.

Learning more about Approximate Match: Approximate Match is generated through Incode's proprietary fuzzy matching algorithm. If approximate match is returned, the algorithm has identified a similar match with the string submitted in relation to the string stored in Creditsafe's data for a particular field. Approximate Match is returned when exact matches are not possible due to misspellings, typographical errors, or slight variations in input data.
