The Incode DevHub MCP server lets AI assistants that support the Model Context Protocol (MCP) search and read the Incode Developer Hub, including guides, SDK reference, and REST API reference. The server is public and read-only, and it does not require an API key.
Endpoint: https://developer.incode.com/mcp
Claude (web and desktop): custom connector
- Open Settings > Connectors > Add > Add custom connector.
- For Name, enter
Incode DevHub. For URL, enterhttps://developer.incode.com/mcp. Then click Add. - In a chat, turn the connector on from the tools menu under the prompt box.
- To confirm it works, ask: "Using the Incode DevHub, how do I get my API credentials?" Claude should search the docs and cite pages from this site.
Note
For Team and Enterprise plans, an organization Owner may need to add the connector first, under Admin settings > Connectors.
Claude Desktop: config file
Use this option if you prefer to manage connections in a configuration file. It requires Node.js, because npx runs a small bridge program (mcp-remote) that connects Claude Desktop to the remote server.
- Open Settings > Developer > Edit Config.
- Add the following entry. If the file already has an
mcpServerssection, addincode-devhubinside it instead of pasting a secondmcpServersblock.
{
"mcpServers": {
"incode-devhub": {
"command": "npx",
"args": ["-y", "mcp-remote", "https://developer.incode.com/mcp"]
}
}
}
- Save the file and restart Claude Desktop.
Claude Code
Run this command in your terminal:
claude mcp add --transport http incode-devhub https://developer.incode.com/mcp
By default, the server is available only in the current project. To make it available everywhere, add --scope user before the server name.
To confirm it is connected, run claude mcp list.
Troubleshooting
- The connector doesn't appear in the tools menu. Confirm it is added and turned on for the current chat. On Team or Enterprise plans, check with your org Owner.
npxnot found. Install Node.js, then restart Claude Desktop.- Claude Desktop won't start after editing the config. The JSON is likely invalid, often from a missing comma or a duplicate
mcpServersblock. Check the file with a JSON validator.
