View Analytics

Info

Beta The Dashboard functionality described on this page is in Beta. It is not yet generally available. Contact your Incode representative for more information.

The Analytics page in Dashboard provides a live view of every session in your Incode environment. You can use it to:

  • Explore focused views: Switch between pre-built views for Overview, Fraud, Conversion, and Users, each with its own KPIs, trends, and maps.
  • Track performance: See key verification, fraud, and conversion metrics as soon as you open the page.
  • Filter everything at once: Narrow all the data by channel, country, flow, device, ID template, and more.
  • Build custom views: Build your own views from a library of widgets, including KPIs, charts, maps, and funnels.

Note

There is a short delay before new sessions appear in Analytics.

The Analytics page includes:

  • Tabs: Tabs for the built-in Overview, Fraud, Conversion, and Users views appear first, followed by a tab for each custom view you create. Click New View to add a custom view.
  • Date picker: Click the date range in the top right to change it. Select dates on the calendar or one of the preset options: Yesterday, Last 7 days, Last 30 days, Last 90 days, or Last 365 days. The default is Last 30 days. Your selection applies to every view.
  • Filters: Click Add filter to filter the data that appears. Filters apply to every widget in every view.

How It Works

Every completed session sends its outcome to Analytics. Analytics gathers these outcomes for your chosen time range and filters, then shows them in the pre-built views and any custom views you build.

You don't need to configure anything. Views populate as soon as you have session traffic.

Pre-Built Views

Analytics comes with four pre-built views, each shown as a tab at the top of the page:

  • Overview: Shows a high-level snapshot of the most critical performance metrics.
  • Fraud: Shows how much fraud was caught, trends, detection rates, and geographic distribution.
  • Conversion: Shows approval and rejection rates, trends, and geographic distribution.
  • Users: Shows verification volume, including total sessions and identities, trends, and geographic distribution.

Work with Widgets

Each view is made up of widgets. Depending on the widget, you can:

  • Hover over a chart, map, or slice to see its exact values.
  • Click an item in a chart's legend to hide or show it.
  • Use the toggle or drop-down in a widget's header to change how its data is displayed, such as switching between counts and percentages.
  • On maps, click the US to see state-level detail. Click the X above the US map to return to the world map.

Filter Your Data

Filters apply to every view in Analytics. To add filters:

  1. In Dashboard, click Analytics in the left menu.
  2. Click Add filter.
  3. Select a filter:
    • Country: The country associated with the session. Values come from the countries in your own traffic.
    • Device Type: The device that ran the capture: iOS, Android, or Web App.
    • Flow: The Flow or Workflow that the session ran. Values reflect your Flows and Workflows.
    • ID Template: The type of identity document: Driver's License, Federal ID, Identification Card, Medical Card, Military, Other, Passport, Permit, Residence Document, Tax Identification, Travel Document, Tribal Identification, Unknown, Visa, or Voter Identification.
    • Session Outcome: The final status of the session: Abandoned, Approved, Failed, or Manual Review.
    • Decision Source: Automated if the outcome was decided automatically, or Manual if it was decided by a person through manual review.
    • Channel: The integration surface the session came through: API, Mobile, or Web.
    • Issuing State: The US state or government body, such as USCIS, that issued the identity document.
  4. Select the value you want to filter by. You can select only one value per filter.
  5. Repeat for all the filters you want to add. You can add each filter once.

The filter appears as a badge, such as Channel: Web. It is applied automatically and immediately. Click X next to a filter to remove it.

Build Custom Views

Build a custom view to focus on the data that matters most to your organization. Display that data in one place, in the way that best supports your goals. You can also display data from the pre-built views with a different chart type: for example, as a bar chart instead of a donut chart.

Note

Custom views are visible only to the user who creates them. Other users in your organization can't see your custom views.

  1. In Dashboard, click Analytics in the left menu.

  2. Click New View.

  3. Click Untitled view and enter a new, descriptive name for this custom view. Every change saves automatically.

  4. Click Add your first widget. The Add a widget panel opens on the right side of your screen.

  5. Choose a data source from the Data drop-down.

  6. Under Chart Type, select how to display the data. You can select only charts compatible with the data source you selected.

  7. Edit the widget's Title or leave the default.

  8. Click Add widget.

  9. Repeat for all the widgets you want to add.

  10. You can configure how the widgets appear in the view by:

    • Dragging and dropping them.
    • Resizing them using their handle in the bottom right corner.

Click Edit Icon of a pencil in the top right of any widget to change its Data source, Chart Type, or Title.

  11. When you're satisfied with your view, click X to close the builder.

Delete Custom Views

You can delete custom views you no longer use. Deleting a custom view cannot be undone.

  1. In Dashboard, click Analytics in the left menu.
  2. Hover over the tab for the custom view you want to delete and click Delete Icon of a trash can.
  3. In the dialog that appears, click Delete view.
