Design system foundations
Vision
Our goal is to drive consistency throughout our products as we grow, making it easier to scale both design and engineering. Prizma is a 'visual strategy'; It's the combination of tools, documentation and assets; an architectural vision for interface ecosystems.
We call our design system "Prizma". Prizma is a 'visual strategy'. Is the combination of tools, documentation and assets; an architectural vision for interface ecosystems.
Prizma is | Prizma isn't |

✅ The visual language we use to communicate Incode's user experience. It is the foundational styles and components on which we build (will build) Incode: Verify, Omni, Workforce, ID, and any new product. ✅ Set of components, tools, and resources that help build and maintain consistency with ease. ✅ The bridge between our brand, our platform, and our customer' customization needs. | ❌ Prizma is not a component library or styleguide. A design system is different. Designers and engineers must use the components as building blocks. They must follow the system’s guidelines, style guide, principles, and other documentation to design consistent-looking user interfaces–like following the instructions to build a Lego set. If team members want to change a component or introduce a new pattern, they must follow the design system’s governance procedures |
Prizma draws inspiration from the optical properties of a prism, a transparent medium shaped with precise angles that analyzes and reflects light. While a triangular prism separates white light into a vibrant spectrum, prisms can also take various forms and serve multiple creative functions, such as in photography.
This versatility is central to our design system. By embracing the multifaceted nature of a prism, Prizma is designed to accommodate a wide range of products, platforms and development types, reflecting adaptability and tailored solutions for diverse design needs.
The name PRIZMA is derived from the Serbian word for "prism" (призма).
